Dilling Bridge

Dilling Bridge Closed - but fundraising efforts are under way!

The Dillings Bridge near mile marker 6.5 is closed until further notice due to significant structural issues discovered during a recent engineering evaluation.

The safety of users of the Lower Trail is our top priority. Engineers have recommended immediate closure of this bridge because a potential collapse could result in serious injury. For the safety of all trail users, no access on or over the bridge will be allowed until further notice. Rails To Trails of Central Pennsylvania is committed to resolving this issue properly and as quickly as possible.

Reopening the bridge safely is our top priority - but the project will cost an estimated $50,000, and we are in urgent need of community support to make it happen. Because grant funding often takes months to process, private donations and local contributions are the fastest way to get the bridge reopened.

Every dollar brings us closer to reconnecting our trail and our community. Please consider donating today - your support truly makes a difference.
